Hi, this is Jody King-Colegrove with Quantum Techniques. Today, I want to talk about Parkinson’s disease. My grandfather had Parkinson’s that he developed from laying wood floors. At the time he did this, they used a particular glue that was very toxic to the cerebellum. The effects were exacerbated because all windows and doors of the house had to be closed to prevent dust from getting on the floor during this process.
The health of a cerebellum can be gauged using a specific test that includes a scale that offers a level of functionality. Ideally the cerebellum functions at a 17 on this scale. It’s a little higher than the rest of your body; for example, the heart functions optimally at a 12 on the same scale. If the body’s chemical makeup is not functioning well, these numbers on the scale will be higher or lower than optimal. At Quantum Techniques we can test and discover whether there’s something impacting your cerebellum. In my grandfather’s case the toxic glue fumes impacted his cerebellum, but there’s other things that can make it weak, thereby making it more susceptible to having a chemical imbalance.
One of the things is a low fat diet. This was a huge deal in the 1980’s and 1990’s. We’re finding out now that this type of diet is not the best for your body. Your brain needs fats in order to be able to function highly, but it needs to be healthy fats like Omega 3’s. By eating a low fat diet, you’re not giving your body the fats that it needs. Try to get those from good fat sources like coconut oil, avocados and similar foods.
Another thing that affects the cerebellum is statin drugs. These are often pushed by doctors to counteract hypertension. Using QT can deal with hypertension without all of the side effects from these drugs.
Toxins are another thing that impact the cerebellum (like the wood glue in my grandfather’s case), including heavy metals. If you use a cleaning agent in your house that has chemicals in it, many times the cerebellum will take on the heavy metals or other toxins. Using QT can eliminate the amount of toxins you’re taking into your body.
Michael J. Fox has Parkinson’s and I’ve listened to several of his discussions on the topic. He traveled to Nepal and found that while he was there he did not notice his disease symptoms nearly as much. Nepal is located very high in the mountains and the people that live there are a very ‘clean’ society, encountering very few toxins. This made a huge difference in his case.
It’s important to be aware of how to keep our cerebellum as healthy as possible. If you believe that your cerebellum is being negatively impacted by things in your life, visit quantumtechniques.com to complete a session request form to have a consult with one of the QT practitioners. Wishing you health and happiness!
